We know we aren’t the only ones that have seen our fair share of swag that was produced with a file that had less-than-stellar quality, resulting in a pixelated image/logo. At House of SWAG, we prevent this issue by using only vector art to create your unique promotional products. But what is vector art, and how can you be sure you’re uploading the best quality file for your swag?
What is vector art?
Vector art is built from graphics (points, lines, curves, and shapes) that are created with mathematical formulas, compared to raster art which is built from pixels. Using vector art ensures that no matter how we need to scale your artwork to fit your swag, it will not get blurry, pixelated, or hard to see/read.
How do I know if my art is vector?
The best way to know if your art is vector is to open your file in a program like Adobe Illustrator and use the selection tool to ensure that you can see the points, lines, curves, and shapes that make your art. If you have a designer on staff or worked with a professional designer to create your logo/art, it’s probably vector. Go ahead and upload your .EPS or .PSD file and we will verify that it’s vector before we proceed with your swag order.
What do I do if I don’t have vector art?
The easiest thing to do if you don’t have vector art is to contact us; our designer can recreate your artwork in vector format. After your artwork has been recreated and you’ve approved it, we can move forward with filling your need for swag and promotional products that fit your business needs and goals.
